Earlier, smaller cuts had a significant negative impact on employee morale. I don't like the changes that are being made in this company. My filings are mixed. On the one hand, I secretly even wish to be a target because the future here is bleak. I think the cuts could have been avoided, or maybe I'm wrong?

I agree but the new mgmt has made awful change. The changes will not work. I used to watch CNN for my news but no longer. I cannot understand why change so many anchors, it is demoralizing for viewers and must be for staff. CNN could not have done anything different to stop the ratings but now they are going to lose ,more viewers due to so many bad changes.
Cuts are unavoidable. How can cnn continue to bleed money by keeping unproductive people on the payroll?
