Is DMT finance where they are considered duplicative? Are Order Management etc? Do you think any of these are immediate layoffs?

DMT - Deal Management Team or better known as Duplicated Menial Trainees
A team created by our former CAO and his minions. They add no value to VMW and simply delay ALL quotes and deals as they have no power to say "No".
I expect the majority of them to be cut within 6 months of the deal closing.
Deals get stalled because we don't have the right tools and automation to fast-track some quotes unless a human being (DMT) reads it and processes it MANUALLY.
Go over to AWS and see how quickly you can starting selling on their platform...set-up takes minutes in some cases.
Makes a change from the normal dumping on Tanzu /s
I don't normally wish bad on ANYONE, but there needs to be some major fat trimming over in DMT. Can't tell you how many deals are stalled and have been lost due to this org. Absolute dumpster-fire.
