Thread regarding Twitter layoffs

I used to be proud to work here

Now I can't wait to leave... The worst thing that could've happened to me is that this was my only option. Fortunately, it's not.

I am still here and loving it! Work gets done. No more bullsh-t meeting and 1:1's. We just get work done now! I was so sick of coworkers bi-----g about their chai tea. FU you spoiled piece of trash. Nothing is owed to you. You have earned nothing! Go cry to your therapist!

You can always leave. What is keeping you is that you are fully aware that you lazy tactics will not be tolerated anywhere else and if you leave you will have to actually work.

Free county. Quit. You probably won't be productive anyways.

People might interpret this thread differently. Store associates have one perspective, transportation associates a different perspective, distribution centers, home office, etc etc etc.

I can say this truthfully, when I started at Walmart HO in Bentonville I was pretty stoked. But, somewhere around 2012/2013 things went south pretty fast.

As a manager, some of the things I’ve seen are right out of the “This suckx” book. I can’t honestly say I’m proud anymore. In fact, if anything, it’s total embarrassment.

I know this for sure, Walmart will literally hire anyone. It’s probably ok to work for Walmart in between real jobs, but, making a career out of Walmart is contrary to being happy and at peace with yourself.

Make your own decisions.

Shut up and go then crybaby

If you folks are so precious and valuable you will be just fine out there

Or...once your next employer finds out you can't handle 40 real hours of real work each week...you may struggle to hold down your job / salary. Which is what's being witnessed a lot out there right now. It's hard to go from not really working and getting paid to actually being a contributing member of a team within a company that actually produces things and benefits society. You'll see.

The world is a cruel place. Get used to it.
