A couple days of vacation, holiday pay and done with Boeing forever except for pension check. So happy to not have deal with shitholes anymore.
Everyone’s afraid not to take the lump sum due to the mismanagement of the company. Anyone within five years of retirements is going to bail.
This company has known for 20 years there would be a Massive retirement wave about now. Instead of bringing in the next generation of aerospace engineers in the US to train, they decided to hire 2000 engineers in Moscow.
Incredibly bad decision, and now they don’t have the experienced workforce to do another new aircraft.
If you are not already collecting your pension when Boeing finally officially declares bankruptcy, it will be lost as it won't be under fed insurance umbrella.
Might want to stop playing video games, collecting superficial friends on social media, listening to BS on fox news designed to make you feel angry and do some research on your own and consider real news stories. The going out of business plan was leaked, well-documented and is now being closely followed by those impacted and interested in this drama and saga. This is also why there is a concerted and frantic effort by Boeing happening now to jack up their stock price.

COLA adjustment for the pension? LOL
It is all about the high interest rates that will only continue to rise and rise and rise.
Question: What will happen to my the Boeing company pension in 2022?
Answer: Interest rates have increased rapidly over the course of 2022, and if you receive your The Boeing Company pension as a lump sum this reduces the value. Traditionally, when interest rates rise by 1% the amount in an The Boeing Company employee's lump-sum will drop by 8 - 12%.
What changes in Pensions is Boeing trying to pull? I have not heard about this. Has Speea mailed any information?
Can someone please fill me in regarding the changes and the deadline to file? My Boeing groups' mananger is a young knucklehead and does not care much about anyone reporting to her. She is just concerned about getting promoted and moving on.
There’s something bigger at work here! The moves leadership in making, is forging a path to bankruptcy and break up of the Boeing company.
