Thoughts? Any Moody's layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?

Heard more layoffs happened / on the way. Does anyone know how severance works in the UK?
Heard from folks the US plan is pretty good (you can find it online), but curious what it looks like for UK-based staff.
Several more layoffs / ended contracts in the ESG IT unit this past month.
Does the severance agreement still have a no return clause? It did in 2020 when they axed people during the start of the pandemic….
Moody’s US has an interesting severance policy. People making over $200K/yr get 12 months of base salary as severance; from $150k-$199k, 9 months ; below $150k, 6 months. Not that bad, so not much need for negotiation.
Did anyone get axed in EMEA?
Anyone trying to negotiate their severance agreement?
Moody’s Investors Service (MIS) axed numerous upper-middle management types (usually managing directors) and others (technical and analytical support) in EMEA on Monday and is axing them in the US today. The forced departures are frequently cast as “retirements”. Word is that parallel layoffs are also going down in Moody’s Analytics this week.
Lots of indiscriminate lay-offs started in 2nd week of November 2022. Done pretty insidiously after having given sham promises that some teams ain't going to be impacted. As a top-performer, my lay off hit me from the left field. Somehow the ESG unit got the short end of the stick. Surprising because all of this went into strategic and long-term investment so recently.
