Leave the thought of joining a union at the door. Unions usually stink and your dues are spent on things you will never agree too. Only the union fatcats benefit from a union. They don't bargain in good faith, lie like he-l and are a waste of time and money. They usually are run by corrupt punks.
RDC965 cut everyone's hours to 32 hours or less and are making major renovations to the warehouse firing old employees to hire new hires at a lower pay.

I just got laid off by lowe's with no prior warning, no fault of my own. It's not a good company to work for anyway, I hated it there. The only good thing was some of the co-workers and most of the customers.

Protect yourselves by forming a union. Does melvin and friends work without a contract? NOPE.
I predict all self checkouts by end of 2023, all CSA's will be let go and replaced by robots. Their will only be one manager per store.

The Chipotle down the street from Lowe’s starting pay is $16.26 in California. That’s for cashier.
I can’t imagine Lowe’s paying that for an entry position.
I saw 5 people working in Chipotle. 2 cooks, 2 cashiers and I think a manager.
In lowes there was 1 open cashier, 1 self
Checkout, 1 returns desk. No one in hardware, 1 person in seasonal, no one in home decor, 1 in flooring.
For the same pay, I’d be team Chipotle and get an education or trade.
I half expect that all hourly positions will go temp to hire, starting with cashiers and receiving/stocking.
Melvin's Titanic is slowly submerging and the only life boats will be offered to corp positions. Dont be foolish in thinking you are valued.
Think Sears, JC Penney and how his only response thru it all is YOU ARE HEROES.
Just remember that they gave out raises and bonuses to some. Keep in mind that Lowe's Corporate does not give without taking from somewhere. Melvin can't be trusted.
