What's your prediction as it relates to the possiblity of Disney layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?

Get woke, go broke. This will be a bad year.
The board is owned by davos investors because performance isn't paying the bills, and christine mccarthy is their #1 sycophant.
that's where all these DEI and ESG initiatives that are leading to even poorer performance are coming from.
Christine McCarthy is a backstabbing, worthless executive. Why is the board keeping her on staff? For DEI purposes?
The expectation, as far as I'm aware, is that Disney Streaming will become profitable in 2024. I first heard that in 2018.
I wish Iger luck & I hope he makes a better decision for his next successor (or he should remove himself from the decision-making process, or perhaps only take an advisory role in the hiring process).
Dear god. I hope the Board can see through her BS. She will be the death of the company. Finance people ruin creativity.
And she is a backstabber who lied to Chapek’s face. Who could trust her?
They need to cut 2 Billion for a profit.
and that's if things continue as they are, which trends indicate things are only getting worse
Christine McCarthy should be fired for incompetence.
yes but she is the heir apparent and will likely be the very last disney CEO
They need to cut 2 Billion for a profit. At 100K average sal + ben, it means 20k people. How will they run anything if they cut that many workers from the parks, shows and movies? Iger is doomed. Christine McCarthy should be fired for incompetence.
Supposedly Bob Iger's return had him immediately stop the planned layoffs. Sounds like Bob Paycheck was moving numbers around to hide the fact that Disney+ has not been making money (which was always the prediction) and struggling.
But I'm hearing rumors that Iger is going to cancel the Florida move for DPEP. I feel bad for those who moved or lost their jobs.
