How likely is that there will be Lockheed Martin layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?

Starting to unravel in RMS . Loss and delay of major contracts. Interesting to see in coming months the new math in financials
Layoffs should be expected at the nasty Canadian operations.
RMS is a Lockheed Martin Division. So if you work for Sikorsky that means you work for LM.
Which makes me think you don’t work for either because you would know the difference.
800 Rotary & Mission Systems (RMS) employees will be laid off in 2023. RMS has 35000 employees across several locations from coast to coast in the US. It was announced this past week.
Not sure where the last poster works, but it’s not Lockheed.
My program got ramped down, and I rolled off. No assistance offered to find a new position (which I didn’t expect outside of the anemic attempts by HR - PS: fix your damn interface for the virtual job fairs!).
Was willing to relocate, and that generated more opportunities, but the vast majority claimed not to have the budget for relocation.
Those opportunities that were local? Got offered positions that were a level higher, but no budget to give me an increase in pay.
Cool. I’ve been ranked as “Exceptional” for the past 2 years (using the old terminology) and as a “high achiever” in the years prior. Already got my next job lined up.
With a competitor. For 18% more and better benefits (by the looks of it).
Treat your people like they’re all expendable and this is what happens.
Management isn’t going to enjoy this Christmas present, but they earned it.
Lockheed Martin has 8,939 jobs posted as of today and can't hire qualified staff fast enough to support program demands. If LM has staff coming off one program, those staff are moved to another program and offered wonderful relocation packages to move if they desire.
