Had a town hall meeting last week. They are sending US customer service work to Bogata, Columbia. Supposedly Bogata is in training, but they may be fully functional because customer the service workload has dropped significantly! They aren’t telling this group ANYTHING! The CEO, Joaquin Duato, is Latin American and spend a lot of time there.

The J&J employees working from home are expected to do the same responsibilities they were in the office. One could say those in the office have lots of "watercooler" time that keeps them from being productive. There are under achievers in both groups but that is for management to take care of. Sounds like someone has sour grapes against those that are able to work from home...... Any cuts coming will be related to supply chain issues....hard to sell stuff that you are having difficulty making. Yet, we have done good despite all the issues created by Covid and the lack of response from our current administration related to the supply chain.

MedTech / RAD are screwed. Major project was a failure. All digital solutions products have been put on hold as they evaluate the path to “Healing Digital”.

We are thinking layoffs planned for the end of Q1. Pay out bonuses, etc then let people go.

Leadership is a joke. Lack of transparency, but everyone already knows the inevitable. Dragging everyone through the dirt. Severance package better be good.

Heard there will be a shake up in MedTech, many projects frozen, on hold currently, no 2023 budgets locked in place yet, etc.

J&J is doing well and still making good profits, there will only be a small number of people who will be laid off.

Many J&J employees are working from home. They only called into online meeting once or twice a day and the rest of the time they are doing personal business at home. This is good for the employees as long as the company is making money.
