They need to do some more quiet firing since we have managers to manage the managers. All mine does is keep me informed about the newest TikTok video if I left he would just curl up in the corner of his office with a box of tissues because he doesn’t even have a clue or desire to find out what we do. I just wish I knew how people get jobs like that.
Odessa is about to start traveling to catch Victoria,TX work.
There's been lots of talk here this week about layoffs on the shop floor North belt location. A sound source confirmed that it's highly possible and has been discussed.
Looking that way for Arbroath too.
Layoffs are imminent. source HR Singapore.
BRING IT, I AM READY FOR A VACAY.
Arbroath taking on all and sundry. No experience needed. Making up jobs as they go along. Employing anybody and everybody it's a free for all.
If you get laid off vs finding a better job in oilfield your not worth keeping. I’m bringing home 40% more , have twice the amount of time off, and get flown to work.
Layoffs are occurring but it's called "Quiet Firing". Certain departments are laying off but doing at a low level such as your position was eliminated and we no longer need you.
Not sure about else where, but Singapore is still hiring.
