Anyone would care to chime in with a prediction about potential Nuance Communications layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?

Aaron, the Enterprise division was effectively disbanded. Have you see the email that Mark Benjamin sent Friday? It communicates without saying a word which is annoying. But so many of us are gone - the acquisition e.ded up being mostly about healthcare.
Yes, MS will be laying of some Nuance employees
Massive layoffs affecting both newer and longtime employees at the top of their game. IT is a scary place to be right now.
Layoffs in Nuance Enterprise also happened globally. (NA, EMEA, wider APAC). Access switched off almost immediately. Brutal process with no consideration for customers. Microsoft sellers with no training or deep knowledge of contact center tech will soon carry quota. Huge shame to lose such valuable staff with deep experience in contact centers and CX. It has now confimed the rumour that Microsoft acquired Nuance for their healthcare division.
Massive layoffs happened yesterday in Australia in the Enterprise teams. Teams have been obliterated starting from top-down without any visible criteria. Looks like more of an exit strategy than consolidation into Microsoft. It remains to be seen when this round will be over and what is left of us who are still here.
Will there be severance for those laid off?
The week of May 15th has been confirmed as Microsoft’s action week to introduce massive layoffs within recently acquired Nuance to ready the transition of employees and roles into Microsoft officially and solidify their FY24 plan of product suites. These layoffs are not a part of the original 10k employee layoffs that Microsoft announced earlier this year, but in addition to. This is also a wide sweeping action to eliminate duplicate roles already present within Microsoft. It will be a mix of immediate terminations along with future set terminations tied to severance.
The layoffs continue. The company continues to transition more accounts to offshore labor on a regular basis. In addition, they plan to cover all ongoing labor through BPOs only, so a significant number of employees from their healthcare department were recently advised that they can choose between an offer from one of the BPOs we work with to continue what they are doing but work for that company instead or take a severance package from Nuance.
Was told today that 10% of my freinds team was let go. I work at another company, but he said it was performance based.
Was laid off today. Talent Delivery. Roughly 40 people let go. Got about 4 months severance. 30 days medical.
Bummer. Was the best company I've ever worked for.
