Look aty LinkedIN - it is a sea of sorrow. A once great company brought to its knees by a blind Hobbit.

What is everyone being offered for severance? We're stronger in numbers if we know what those who are culled are getting

If this is true, I hope there's at least 4 other people in finance so that Bu-t Paste can finally get thrown out

20%? Is anything enough to balance the books? We’ve been slicing VP for years and still the only part of the business that earns real money is BT. Basically the remnants of the NDS bits. VN is viable but has its ups and downs.
Pi----g $100m/yr on MCS is much the same as the near $1bn burned on Infinite. And that was supposed to be continuous integration, continuous development - never happened. The very same folk now swearing that saas will be our saviour.
Company now offering shares for sale to pay for the bonuses and net value of the company is plummeting.
Spot the shining future if you can.

Let's see when the axe falls how hysterical 20% is. And we only have 2 "investors" so I doubt they'll look here for advice since they're all over the cuts anyway. As for moral the damage is done

Bandying around hysterical numbers like 20% doesn’t help anyone. It hurts morale and it hurts investor confidence. We all know this is just another storm in a teacup. We’ll trim like 5% or something then everything continues as normal.
