UPFE is just another cut to the Carmen craft along with load shifts wrecker crews subcontracted wheel shops everywhere and next train air tests the Union is bought off from the local chairman up and are now getting payed by the company not by collected Union dues giving the workers no negotiation power we can see as they stall and drag there feet to go on strike.
It won’t.. As long as the Scab conductors union is fine with taking Carmen jobs
As long as the Union leader allow this with no repercussion strikes buyouts protection from layoff the company is making seniority worthless and it will continue to subcontract until the union is decimated bankrupting rail road retirement with less paying in
