Thread regarding Twitter layoffs

The Borg Elon

Elon has the right to do what he wants as he spent a lot of money to buy Twitter.

However, the insensitive manner in which he did it shows a lack of human empathy. The bird is dead the culture is destroyed. The massive cuts are due to the extra 13 billion debt Elon has shoved on Twitter. Simply showing up with a sink and within a week firing 3700 people. No human empathy. Also the my way or the highway approach of Elon got another 1000 or so to leave. Twitter had problems and could have been run better no doubt. A 3 year profit plan and new CEO not Parag with a Vision and sales experience. A trim of 15% of staff who were lower performers, and a cut back in OPEX and CAPEX is such as outsourcing some functions, making employees pay for food and shrinking real-estate is all that it would have taken. Twitter was its people most were hardworking some lazy. The Borg has taken over attracting trolls and chasing away left of center types who made twitter. Advertisers have fled and subscription will take years to take off. He will not make it without a bankruptcy which is 6 months away. Because he cant pay his debt

I love people who try to be all sassy and sarcastic, then write "you're" instead of "your"

Nobody forced him to make an overpriced, impulsive offer he didn't plan to go through with. If he was the great businessman his fanboys would like to think he is, he would have done due diligence before making that offer. But he didn't. He got pi---d off and fu---d up. Then he tried to get out of it, but that's not how the business world works. Another thing a great businessman would know, you'd think. Nobody forced him to buy Twitter. He made an official offer and then people made sure he honored that offer. He's like an overgrown toddler with no impulse control who has no idea what he's doing unless he has people handling him. We're watching in real time what happens when he's left to his own devices. And it's so much fun to watch him crash and burn.

Elon didn't want to buy Twitter. He was forced to. That's what happens when you force a shopper to buy a product he doesn't want for the bloated price. Twitter was in a lot of financial trouble already which was why they forced his hand. Elon got pi---d off and then made sure to punish those who forced his purchase. Surprised people didn't see it coming. Twitter would have to close its doors if Elon had not come along.

I am amazed you're not running Twitter with your massive insight and intellect. I am sure you're human empathy and understanding would have made Twitter very profitable. Maybe you only lacked one thing. $44 Billion.
