Thread regarding GlobalFoundries layoffs

How valued do you feel at work?

I'm asking because it feels like not only does the ELT not respect or value employees, but they actively despise us. My former employers were not perfect either, but at least I knew my contributions were appreciated and rewarded accordingly. None of that happens at GF. At least for me. Maybe others have a better experience here than I do.

I like PB. He is a pr--k and he is not trying to hide it. He doesn't care- nay, he wants you to hate him. Because he gets off from how much people hate him, I choose to like him.

Meanwhile, TC and the rest of his ilk hide their poison and lies behind a veil of smiles and greasy handshakes. Fcuk that.

For all the negative things you guys say about TC he's a very friendly person and will not hesitate to say hello to you in the hallways. PB is the exact opposite.

On this Thanksgiving Day I am again reminded that the European took advantage of Indians, deja vu.

It depends. I feel like I get rewarded most times when I go above and beyond.

For everyday or routine stuff I've feel adequately rewarded with raises and bonuses maybe half of the time.

But the amount of blowback from when something goes wrong is disproportionate to anything above.
