Thread regarding Citrix Systems Inc. layoffs

Taking their time about it.

I guess the next wave of layoff's wont be until next week. I didn't think they would have held out until after Thanksgiving to be honest.

Anyone have word on any BU decisions?

That post a few days ago regarding the ShareFile separation was interesting to see. Anyone have another BU specific information to share?

Brilliant analysis. Lay off sales guys in December because that will help close end of year business?

You lay sales guys and SEs off in Q1, not in Q4.

I dont give a sh-t. I can wait for the money, TK.

It's going to take time to right-size CSG and thereby satisfy the new PE owners. We all need to be patient and wait for the situation here to stabilize. Once the headcount issue is resolved, then we can all move on to a better place.

I'm convinced, there is no quick-fix to this unfortunate situation. It's complicated.

AOP process isn't variable. TK has deadlines for each round. Round 2 is done. Higher-ups will know who is on the chopping block, but more names will be added (and there will be transition people.) Lower-level manager might not know.

If your manager, or director for that matter, is anything like mine then they will have no idea yet. I think some groups are much further into the AOP process than others.

I have heard that a number of layoffs have been delayed until January for whatever reason. I couldn't tell you if that applies to every BU or not, but CSG has definitely changed the schedule on some moves. If you have a good relationship with your manager, maybe you can discreetly ask if this is the case for your group.
