My local Costco has just finished doing interviews with 500 candidates out of a total of 5000 applications. There were 90 individuals hired. Beginning salary of $19.50, full benefits after 90 days, and a 401k match of $0.50 to $1.00 after six months of employment.

Not that great of pay. But then again it’s retail.

5000 apps (even number) 500 interviews (10%) and 90 hires. Seems a bit to easy .
