However, you are all still employed while thousands of tech professionals are being laid off. How about expressing some gratitude? I'm not suggesting you have to enjoy your job; I don't. I'm also not saying you shouldn't worry about the future. But this much complaining in these circumstances... You should manage your priorities.

You can be thankful for your current employment but still express your dissatisfaction. Bring grateful for your job doesn’t mean you have to roll over and just take the BS.
I’m going to stay and moan! Try and stop me, muhahahahaha
Anyone else want to tell me how to behave?
You decide your own destiny and professional career. You want to stay, stop complaining and do the job you are being paid for. You moan and complain - do yourself a favour and look elsewhere.
OP who mentioned Tucci has no idea what he is talking about. You better check how much Greedy Dell took after acquiring VMware, and how much he made VMware borrow money for him before spinning off vmware.
Tucci actually is a very shrewd and professional leader.
VMware was doomed before Mikey D came in and did the mercy ki----g of EMC. Joe Tucci and his ilk were plundering the company since they bought it in 2004.
Who the f__k are you to tell people how to feel?
has been run and how Michael Dell used the company as his own piggy bank,
And how MD encouraged and boosted the cr-p management that we have now.
How, for example, in a reasonable company can the two people responsible for the two flagship products GET PROMOTIONS right after the products had to be recalled due to severely bad quality.
Financial stability is everyone's priority. Everyone should be pi---d on how poorly this company has been run and how Michael Dell used the company as his own piggy bank, saddling the company with billions in debt before spinning it off.
People are allowed to feel however they want about the situation.
