Out of all the possibilities, I think this was the best way to deal with layoffs. I looked at other companies and it's an absolute mess. People have no idea what's going on, some have been let go but some are yet to be notified weeks later, and some are learning their layoffs will be a years-long process... At least here we learned how many people will be cut, we found out right away who it was, and now we can move on. I'll take that over the alternatives any time.

Bahahaahahahahahaha……..gasping for air……..Bahahahahaahahahahahahahahah…… gasping for air. Oh dude, I have news for you. There are many more rounds to come
They are already creating a list for round 2
sadly once layoffs start it never really ends. it will be done in other ways like getting managed out of the company if you're on the bottom third of performers next year. also no one knows how the recent laid off people were selected, was it by hire date or performance review or were they overpaid etc etc. i know that there were people better than riley rojas who were laid off but riley is still here posting on tik tok how as a meta pm she works about an hour or so everyday and spends the rest of her time partying
A sinking ship takes time. It will be every quarter from now and as long as revenue is trending downward.
The next round of 10% wont be hard and fast, it will be silent via bad performance review and no severance issued.
Then some will have wished they were cut in Nov. Just watch
oh you poor sweet summer child
we love MZ for the way he organized these layoffs - it was perfect!
Wishful thinking buddy, wait until Capex cuts come and more expense reduction pressure is on the table by Wall Street. This is just the beginning, just see how little effect they had in the stock...
Who knows where the bottom is.
You mean "this round" of layoffs are over, right?
