Here's the thing: intel management is too mired in politics and dysfunction to properly set goals let alone measure and assess employee's contribution toward it.

BK's ham-handed efforts to make intel seem like a company that cared about diversity resulted in further politics and dysfunction. How many wives of intel employee's did I have to interview for positions for which they weren't qualified?!

DEI effort is counterproductive and destroys culture of excellence. You staff up an army of DEI officers in HR, window dress with PR and show how much you care, try and hire any DEI candidate whether they are excellent or not, create internal anxiety tribalism pitting faction vs faction, post statistics on your web page that show at best all you can do is hit same distribution as US college grad population. All while the CEO in charge of the program violates policy with a DEI sleep over.

These posts paint a clear picture of many employees focusing only on grievance. No wonder you haven't produced any good tech on time for years. You know who doesn't complain like this, real talent.

You can't serve two masters. You will end up hating one and loving the other.
