Help me with a Pay Question

Have You Had Any Pay Adjustments in 2021 and 2022?

Hello All - I work in the IT department of a Fortune 500 company who is not a competitor. I wanted to see if I can learn what other Fortune 500 companies did in 2021 and 2022 in terms of adjusting pay due to rising inflation.

My company did nothing so far and people are upset, we are being told that we are being paid the market wages and that we have low attrition and that therefore people are not upset and are happy to stay.

I've heard that many Fortune 500 companies had pay adjustments in 2021 and 2022 and I wanted to share that information with our ELT regardless of the BS they are feeding us.
Anyhow, please share if your org had any adjustments during 2021 and 2022 - I and I am sure orther layoffs.com visitors would appreciate that.

Thanks...

Boeing outsourced ALL their technical IT talent in 2020 &2021 to Dell or laid them all off. All that's left is project managers who just shuffle paper and who think proficiency in MS Word makes them IT professionals !!!

As far as IT , boeing has stopped giving out any annual raises. 2020 was the last year for any raises. They stopped giving out promotions back in 2009. In lieu of a raise they arenow giving out "stock options" that don't activate for 3 years. Good luck on ever cashinv those in.

Unless you are a Boeing executive in which case you can bankrupt your organization and still get promotion and bonus.

I had a manager, tell me point blank that the higher level you are and the higher payed you are the more likely you will be laid off.
