Really? Krause has done what was expected of him? He was expected to lower morale and reduce productivity via a forced RTO? Because that's what he's done. Why would Vista and the other owners expect a CEO of one of their companies to lower morale and reduce productivity?

Yeah, he was. The entire point of this transition was to significantly reduce the workforce, and the strategy behind RTO and making the workplace as uncomfortable as possible was to get as many people to leave as possible without providing a severance.

You guys act like this is the first corporation you've ever worked for.

TK blew it by being so cynical about WFH and hard-assed about RTO. It has lowered morale and reduced productivity. Is that what Vista wants in their $16B investment? A company where the employees have low morale and low productivity, which will lead to lower profits. Vista wants a CEO in one of their companies that is losing them money? Since they only care about money, why would they want this CEO to remain? So they can lose more money?

My friend, if leadership is making decisions based on anonymous posts on some random website, we have bigger problems than I thought. I don’t believe that TK is that stupid.

"Meanwhile, every employee is assumed untrustworthy. Why? Too many employees have posted here that they don't care and are just staying in the hope of receiving a severance payout. That's not the way to build trust. Instead, it makes the new owners feel contempt for the remaining employee leftovers. For god's sake, don't sound so damned entitled!"

How fu----g dare you. You will find TK was the first one to sh-t on the FREE FU----G HOURS we gave to Citrix during WFH in pandemic YEARS, and accused people of doing less than they should or even moonlighting. FU-K OFF.

Yes, it's true, employee morale has been a casualty of TK's execution of the leadership direction he was given by the new owners. The forced RTO is likely due to a lack of trust.

Once Krause has confidence that he has a credible ELT in place, then he may reconsider. Meanwhile, every employee is assumed untrustworthy. Why? Too many employees have posted here that they don't care and are just staying in the hope of receiving a severance payout. That's not the way to build trust. Instead, it makes the new owners feel contempt for the remaining employee leftovers. For god's sake, don't sound so damned entitled!

You have to admit, Krause has done exactly what was expected of him.

That's in contrast to the inept prior CEOs that drove Citrix into ongoing decline while taking big pay bonuses based on their fraudulent financial performance claims.

I trust Tom as far as I could throw him, and I wouldn't even be able to pick him up.

Ah, it's Sunday night "loser troll" time. So clever! Maybe Hollywood can hire him for his clever remarks.
