The buildings are mostly empty. Walking around in them is like walking in an over-air-conditioned tomb. It's pointless to be there. Stop wasting money on the real estate and convert us all to remotes.

TK will not close FTL campus because he has a second mortgage and will not be able to maintain his FL residency which would save him millions of dollars in taxes. What a hypocrite!!! Do what I say but not what I do! Go back to office!!!
You'll find out the hard way. Good luck.
There are customers who only work with U.S-based Engineers(for security purposes). What will happen if CEO wipes out all the engineers in the U.S?
I think they will do some cleanings, but not to the point of firing the entire U.S team.
Not a rumor. Fact.
No need to start rumors. Outsourcing is a 80s/90s idea that didn't work out.
Look - if you are a Citrix employee in the U.S., your days are numbered. Hasn't Krause made that clear enough? The ride is over. Make other plans. Don't let Krause dictate your future.
"Will be hiring more US located workers to be able to maintain these products better. "
LOL -- they just wiped out most of the U.S. recruiting team. They have no intention of "onshoring". That's laughably wrong.
Will be hiring more US located workers to be able to maintain these products better. The offshoring resulted in the deaths of entire lines of products and unhappy enterprise customers. To learn more research on-shoring.
Agreed. In two to three years, the only CSG employees left in the US will be HQ (Finance, Legal and the CEO office) and some customer facing teams, probably one single office. TK a has little to no inventive to keep that many employees in the US
There is little reason to have any U.S.-based Citrix people other than customer-facing ones. Krause has already made it plain that India is going to be the center. You won't be keeping your WFH job. Be prepared.
In-office work INCREASES the likelihood that your job will be off-shored. It does not decrease it.
If you work in an office, that office space makes you that much more expensive than the worker in a low-cost geography.
Keep in mind - if the US office closes because everyone is working from home, that home will eventually be someone from India/Costa Rica/Bulgaria. If it's all remote, then anyone from anywhere can do it if they have the skills.
It's a story of continued low office occupancy across American urban centers. FYI, San Jose CA is apparently the worst market in the nation at ~37% office occupancy.
Employer's return-to-office mandates have failed. There is no 'normal' since the pandemic. Being 'ordered' to return doesn't seem to matter to a lot of people who just don't want to commute anymore. Flexible working is here to stay. But you'll have to leave CSG to find a progressive company that values its employee's well-being.
I disagree please keep the FTL office opened while threatening me to make a cameo appearance. I appreciate looking at the younger ones ready to take my place while I eat my spinach wrap.
I thought Krause ORDERED everyone back to the office? LOL
