Anyone who actually writes software, please report to the 10th floor at 2 p.m. today.

Before doing so, please email me a bullet point summary of what your code commits have achieved in the past 6 months, along with up to 10 screenshots of the most salient lines of code.

Thanks,

Tom

If you’re working remotely, please email the request below nonetheless and I will try to speak to you via video. Only those who cannot physically get to DST Twitter HQ or have a family emergency are excused.

These will be short, technical interviews that allow me to better understand the DST Twitter tech stack.

Thanks,

Tom

If possible, I would appreciate it if you could fly to KC to be present in person. I will be at DST HQ until midnight and then back again tomorrow morning.

I was so tired of my managers hitting on me. Was told I would be the last to get laid off. But I quit. Now he invites me to lunch and wants to hire me back? Get a life loser!

Elon musk would never invest in dst
And he would laugh at the horrible decisions made by dst and its board of directors. Clients disliked dst. Dst had old poor systems. Winchester was nice, but no backup facility for decades????? Poor planning. I mean before Winchester all dst's computers were in the kcsi building up on the 4th floor of a regular office building at 11th and wyandotte. A tornado could have wiped it out. Oh, but dst's plan was a t1 line that ran to the kc fed reserve. Yeah, call Jeff at the fed and see if they can work dst's processing into their schedule. What a stupid plan

I would work for Elon any day. He is a man gone down in history. But DST's management team, from the very beginning of the company to present, will be forgotten. Just another group of guys picked to run a company that no longer exists. Like the hundreds of thousands to top executives forgotten from the 1940's to 1980's. Their companies are gone. products forgotten, and the survival of the fittest (like GE and Boeing) will be around over the next few centuries. DST laid off people because they failed. Companies hire because they win. DST is technically no longer existing (merged). Plus the name...DST...what not name it something like "Securites Fund Accouting Systems Inc". I mean DST means nothing! Datasystance....? A dating service? Come on who thought up DST? In any case its gone folks, legally gone.

Poor management = they blame you for your reaction to their disrespect. And hold your reaction against you. As if you deserve disrespect as an employee. They pay you = they can disrespect you.

Yes Elon Musk is better than working for a "TOM".
