Well, GF made me shave my beard off for respirator fit test and they are probably going lay me off. Yay me.

The weirdness of the respirator fitting is after the test is complete, you can grow your beard back. Now you'll have a beard when the time comes to actually use the respirator.
Our EHS is on the same Skil level as HR.
Beard can grow back, but the pride is forever.
In the business we call that a face Pivot. Take it as a win!
I refused to shave and no longer certified.
