What does it mean to be data driven with absolute trash data? Sounds like an ‘emperor’s new clothes’ type situation, but what do I know.

This Thanksgiving, I'm thankful that I no longer work in that toxic work environment Devon.
Our fearless IT leader Trey certainly has his cue cards with those! He’d be lost without them. And God forbid we ever had a data audit, it would be like rats leaving a sinking ship.
Gotta know and say the right buzz words.
Trash data has happened in some groups due to too many software conversions, just moving data from one app to another and not using the original data. I know. Got my watch and left after the 3rd one.
If you're in IT, make sure you're doing everything you can to facilitate access to data. And if you’re an IT Department that doesn't have that skillset (cough cough), ensure you're not limiting someone who does. I've seen many engineers know how to apply data only to be blocked by IT and required to "go around" the IT department.
Gone are the days of only managing the network and servers. Expose yourself to the operations side, learn the business, go ride with a pumper.
Words we need to live by.
