He said the layoffs next year will be smaller. Is smaller 100, 150? No number is small if you’re the one being let go!
They’ll do, like all of us, their jobs but from the scattered applause, it didn’t seem many were really buying what was being said to them.
I thought it was comical that Mark said the company narrowly escaped a "near-death experience". Yeah, we have record earnings and are paying dividends never seen before but the company narrowly escaped "death" ..... really???? Maybe if you click your heels together 3 times and repeat that out loud enough it will become a reality. I guess anything to try and justify laying off people off when it doesn't seem justifiable at all.
I think he was given softball questions.
