Thread regarding Citrix Systems Inc. layoffs

Odds on the CSG Plan Succeeding

Yes Citrix is dead, yes Tibco is dead, the cultures are dead, the employees have been treated horribly so far, and the future business looks like a financial conglomerate and not cozy tech companies.
Putting that aside, TK does have a history of building businesses like they laid out. and if CSG avoids bankruptcy and can roll up a lot of other ex growth enterprise software it would be very lucrative (for PE). There is a route to going public again if he builds Broadcom 2.0.

What are the odds that it succeeds ?

"Citrix has stood the test of time"

Citrix doesn't exist, LOL.

The Broadcom Software revenue and profit was a small blip on their overall balance sheet. That said, Krause is an expert at squeezing more cash from CIOs that, for whatever reason, will tolerate the decline in customer support and higher license renewal pricing.

Beyond that limited scope, Krause is not a revenue growth leader. He knows how to harvest profit, period. Taking CSG public would be a longshot outcome unless something dramatically changes in the current business plan. Not impossible, but it's unlikely.

BTW, "Citrix has stood the test of time." -- that's sarcasm, I assume, because it's a laughable statement. They were a leaky ship without a rudder for a very long time.

TK will lead us to greatness. Citrix has stood the test of time. We have been through our ups and downs but have always come out on top. This time will not be any different. Believe in the company, believe in TK, or leave.
