Younger and cheaper. There's only one problem with that. TD has a reputation as a terrible place to work that has gone beyond those of us who work here. These days, any person worth their salt is staying as far away from TD as they can. Even the young and inexperienced ones are only joining to get some experience and move on. The management's plan will fail spectacularly.

Definition of an Anti-American company. They preach diversity to send as much work outside the US where labor is cheap. The HR diversity, ethics, marketing is a cover to maintain cheap labor without criticism. Hire just enough Americans to build the framework for projects and set the direction, then let them go and copy their work in the satellite offices located in developing nations and second, third world countries.
Looks like HR and HA are monitoring this site.
Lots of jaded misinformation here, but sounds like you have a right to be angry, so carry on. Like the other post, I wish you the best in your next role.

You are assuming HA has a plan.
They can’t keep staff in Pakistan or India. The churn on my team there has been 80%/year. So now the want to hire gen z (who conveniently subscribe to their secular religion of wokeism).
Management out here really thinking this is a good tech company for youth to work at but in reality it's TERADACTYL. Managers are delusional if they think engineers can't find a job.
Operative word is cheaper. TD is driving as much work as they can to low labor cost locations.
