actually full timers max out 10 weeks severance .. if you are a full time key holder supervisor then it max 12 weeks severance !
Full timers and up get a week for every year you have been here but maxing out at 12. Part timers are also based on years of service. Regardless of the companies finances, you will receive your severance regardless.

Yes it is from the first 50 that came out in October and close prior to 12/31. The subsequent stores that were notified also are getting the same package. It is reduced from the ones a couple years ago. For instance 20 years gets a manager 16 weeks. The ones who will get the shaft are the ones still here when the whole company shutters. There will be no severance for them. Right now the company has to offer it or the entire staffs would walk with in weeks of notification. The thing is it is not worth the severance package to sh-t down. It is a f ton of work.
Is your email recent/ last month or so......or from the layoffs a couple years ago when we all already know there was severance? Company HAD money then.
