Some of those folks who were laid off less than a year after they were hired left good jobs to come here. They thought they were being given a legitimate opportunity just to end up kicked out with nothing to show for it. That shows such utter disrespect for employees. Everybody involved should feel ashamed.

You can't sue..at will. You just learned that WD has no strategy or leadership
Can people sue companies for that? Was lied to, believed good future, left good job to come to new job, then got laid off not long time later.

Someone was hired in early this year and got a notice about letting go. They told the person the position was no longer available. It shows how lack of long term planning they are. Especially in the business side, they hire just for sake of hiring because they also think they are in the org which can always get budget to allocate.
