The only thing that makes me feel good about the bad managers at Citrix over the years is if you look at the company they are at now it is a company no one has heard of. The managers that treated employees like cr-p are not considered top talent. They couldn’t even get in at a top company. Tells me a lot!

My current manager has been absolutely useless these last few weeks. Absolutely no leadership qualities whatsoever, just letting my team languish, doing whatever we want. If he doesn't get laid off as part of all this is will be an absolute disgrace.
So many managers just remain and languish at Citrix and hope to for the rest of their career. They wouldn't survive at a company where they couldn't hide behind blaming everything on their teams...
It’s not just ELT. There are managers that are also responsible for the bad culture at Citrix. They took whatever they could get and it’s not at a top IT company…
It's payback, for all the mismanagement that led to the ongoing decline of Citrix.
However, some companies don't perform the appropriate due diligence before they recruit executives for new roles. Case in point, former CEO David Henshall has been appointed to a board of directors role since he left Citrix.
Why? Certainly not due to past performance. Ditto for others on the current ELT.
