Thread regarding Teradata Corp. layoffs

A huge loss for the company

The decision to cut some of the most skilled people is beyond me. How does this company intend to compensate for the loss of such institutional knowledge in the future?
I hope they don't think that mediocrity will be able to adequately replace such people.

There is no future for TD. We're all just here to milk this cow as long as possible.

Former employee here -- NOT SURPRISED. Come on everyone, going back since VL took over for OR as CEO, the annual Xmas layoff has been the company's holiday treat. The "will they" or "won't they" game is an old one for this ELT.

TD is letting getting rid of the dead weight. Looks like a time to clean house. Deliver or leave.
