I left Teradata a while back and you would not believe how happy I am now that I’m gone. If you were laid off, there are plenty of good opportunities out there and you will end up in a much happier place. Trust me. F**k them.

Agree -- when I was laid off, I was oddly relieved. No more toxic marketing people to deal with, no more ELT who thought they knew more than the SME's, no more HR who were corporate stooges. It's shocking at first but it's unbelievable when you find a new job and see how a real company should treat their employees.
