Thread regarding Teradata Corp. layoffs

Entire LT Needs to Go!

So we hire massive amounts of VP's and above while the people that do all the work and have the most experience, continue to walk out the door and are not replaced. Does anyone else think that the entire LT should be gone? I have been with NCR/Teradata for many, many years and I remember when this company was a wonderful place to work. This LT has totally destroyed that. And the communication in this company is non-existent. Wonder how long before the company is sold because right now, this place is a joke?

Its easy to blame the ELT when a company has problems, but in Teradata's case its totally warranted. They are just in over their heads. They focus on the wrong things (DEI obsession anyone?), and there is no accountability at all. How can NC still be the CSO with this mess? How can SM still be CEO? Anyone know OR's phone number? At least he had some technical chops and passion.

The ELT bloat just gets worse as the years go by. What do they even do? Given the frequency of layoffs, it is ELT's failure to deliver but yet nothing happens to them. All they do is send pity emails and hold sad pep rally during all hands. F*** TD ELT

FYI no one will buy TD. EVER.
