It feels like Intel is running on fumes.
There is something fundamentally wrong with Intel. The cost structure is too high and AMD/TSMC still kicking their tail and doing it efficiently.
And now some peanut butter spread cost cutting is going to solve the issue? US is going to have to make Taiwan the 51st state to keep technology from China.
What is being cut? There are extreme cuts in key areas vs holding each group responsible for their friends and family grade 9 and above Chief of Staff, TAs and egregious Ops managers that operate nada! So many worthless bodies collecting fat checks.
I see all these articles about the chief of people being compassionate and the head of data center being acknowledged. The ELT is more into themselves than Zuck or Musk is! Quite a crew! No acknowledgement on any failures.
