The way these cuts were managed is very unprofessional. I hear from some people that they didn't get details about the severance pay. That is the ultimate proof that they do not respect employees at all.
Couldn't at least the communication have been a little better, so that those who have been loyal to this place for years don't leave with a bitter taste in their mouth?

Salesforce Ohana is a front page cover of a magazine. Meaning, from an outside view perspective life is wonderful and everyone is one big happy family. When in reality, this place js highly dysfunctional. Their last layoff was in 2020, over 2000 employees were laid off and senior management kept those salary and bonus, carried on as usual during a pandemic when the economy was at it’s weakest

Loyalty? Are you kidding me! This is a business that focuses on profit, growth, etc. for the financial market and ultimately the shareholders. The higher ups get the big bucks and manages the company direction and control cost, your pay to achieve some of the goals outlined above. You need to look out for yourself. No one will look out for you. Sorry to break this to you, but this is how business work. Any extra work or sacrifices that you put in thinking about loyalty to the company is wasted effort. Only put in the effort to get the promotion and not get laid off. That is it.
