Seems every damn post is talking about another cut in Engineering. How is that possible. That is the last team that we should be cutting.

I just got 10 weeks of severance . I won’t be on payroll past next week. Did anyone get a different severance package?
Were there less than 50 affected in El Segundo so no WARN notice?
It wasn’t 1,100, more like 200, mostly in Product. SD employees are on payroll until Jan plus severance so equals about 4 months pay
Innany case, how can we view these warn notices?
WARN notice should be given 60 days ahead of time, right? If WARN notice is scheduled for Jan, Are they giving four months of severence to comply?

I dont see any warn notices on edd.ca.gov. Where are u seeing the notice?
If it was 1,100, we would have heard about other teams outside of Engineering. I would guess 100 or so.
Yes warn notice for San Diego. Heard 1,100 laid off total company wide but again that’s through the grapevine. A big re-org is coming in San Diego.
Were there any California WARN notices for San Diego or El Segundo or were the layoffs less than 50?
They are running out of RIF candidates.
Engineering was significantly impacted, especially QA
