Now I just hope that I will be able to get a new offer soon, although I am very worried because the job market is a he-l ho-e right now.
Do you think your severance pay will be enough until you get a new job? The anxiety I am feeling is astronomical.

TD severence is really bad. No health insurance! I was laid of rather unceremoniously by my skip level after working here for many years.
They really dont care for you. I have heard of more graceful and respectful conduct during layoffs at other companies. This ELT needs to be sacked first and take reaponaibility for decisions that they made that led to this.
Sorry for your situation. Can you share what the severance package looked like? Best of luck to you!
No health insurance coverage in the package.
Is it the WARN act bare minimum of 2 months?
If it is of any reassurance during this depressing time I ended up financially better off for the 12 month time after my last layoff. This was due to severance, unemployment, and the higher salary package I got at the next job that I started 3 months later. I wish the same for you.
Eh, I suppose it's perspective, but if you've ever been laid off by Oracle you will be pleasantly surprised. He-l, if you've been a part of a startup that closes doors, then you will be ecstatic! Not my first rodeo
