Today I got layoff im from the Finance Department, I'll stay and get paid till mid-Jan and a severance of 10k, also saw a director get the layoff earlier in the week, and people were talking about who's next. I would say that if you made it this week and heard nothing from your manager you are safe until the next round so if you have a gut feeling you're next i would start applying now!. The clues that i saw were being excluded from meetings my work got reduced and my manager was being dismissive with me. This company definitely doesn't care and trust me when i say doesn't look like things will recover anytime soon!

When did you start to observe the clues that you are going to be laid off? In days?
I as well got RIFd. Engineering side. Worked just over a year. It was sort of a lame job anyways.
Bit by bit RIF is the worst kind.
I also got layoff notice after only being there less than 1 year.
Same scenario on engineering side: workload reduced, excluded from meetings, let go last week, with pay until January. I asked my manager during my lockout if I was about to be RIFd and he said no, our team was safe. Sharing so others can watch for signs and prepare better than I did.
Mid-level finance this project was called new horizons, but not sure about engineering i would say keep an eye on your workload and communications their a pretty good gauge of what their intentions are
Do you know if it will translate to engineering? Were you like a low level finance guy?
Which group within finance?
Stay strong brother!
