The best way to keep your job is to work hard and be good at what you do.
If you get a rating or a 1 or 2, you either don’t work hard or efficiently or you just aren’t qualified enough to stay. QC work is demanding and rewarding, but not everyone is talented enough to cut it, which is fine! There are lots of other places where one might fit in better.
Point being, QC is good at measuring talent, so If you are rated in the bottom 10-20%, it might be you are suited elsewhere anyway. For your own mental health, it’s best to look for different work before being laid off.
Unlikely. Period.
Let’s fu----g go!!!!!
Do you think employee with performance score of 3 will be impacted?
To people who feel management and HR will make you a scapegoat, keep good records of everything. Even if one gets pushed out, at least have some leverage to get more payout.
What is AIC under RA? From above comment.
A Qualcomm business can lose money year after year and be considered a good performer. While at the same time a business that makes money year after year is full of under performers - this is Qualcomm logic and why knees pads are necessary to advance at Qualcomm!
AIC under RA is classified as poor performance. Five years, no customers. CRD 2018 and 2022 re-orgs were to chip away at RP empire and place responsibilities.
Anyone who has first review cycle and got 2 is fine. So, july2022 joniee getting 2 is safe for this year
I started in July 2022 got performance rating of 2. Am I in trouble?
Good start with the endless Senior Staff Managers that are masters of status collection and nothing else.
Bros, what, if any will the arbitration most of us defaulted into will play a role?
Qualcomm standards? LOL I side with the knee pad comment.
Suggest one and two ratings (except new joins who had first review) to look for another employer
The previous remark is pretty low class, and not at all I keep ping with Qualcomm standards. If you are that bitter, it may be time to reassess your decisions.
Qualcomm offers decent pay, excellent benefits, and endless opportunities for those who are willing to work for what they get.
So all those people that invested in knee pads last year your job is safe! But please clean off your face after putting in a hard days work!
