This is very similar to another group that I was in. While the whole company was watching and cutting expenses, we were burning cash, hiring and having many large remote wasted meetings. I was nervous at first and for how much run way we have because the whole company was watching expense, but got used to it after awhile. Three years later, the whole group was cut. I wonder how much runway RL has.
Yes, there was a big hit there as well. The core team is well protected and will continue to pushs the roadmap ahead. I would not be making my purchasing decision based on this layoff, RL is flush wiht capex money.
