Laid off with no prior notice, effective immediately. Lots of people losing jobs, not looking good for the company.

They do this every 2 years when sales arent meeting expectations. Q4/annual results will be great, stock will jump, hiring will resume, rinse repeat

I have heard about many from all over Engg not just one group. Doesn't remove the sting but at least the last pay date and severance package sound decent. Least they could do for the talented people they are pushing out.

I was laid off, too , along with 4 others in my group. San Diego Engineering. Warn notice - there were a lot let go. Lots of knowledge just left the building.
