Got laid off from Teradata today. Workforce reduction program. Had joined recently. Absolutely heart broken. Don’t know what to do.

Sorry to hear that. Did you have any time to clear out before losing access or is it immediate?
I feel pretty gutted atm. I’ve worked weekends and holidays away from family, and given some of the best years of my career to get a 5 minute disingenuous phone call from HR and a director who probably won’t even remember my name tomorrow.
That's awful. All I can suggest is that you immediately make looking for a new job your new full time job. Companies are just starting to lay off in earnest and if possible you want to land a new gig before you're competing with the flood of job seekers coming up behind you.
How many people got impacted ?
As another employee that is laid off. i hear you . All the best buddy.
Unfortunately, these employees had ample warning. But still sorry it happened to you. Those still there pay attention.
We know that WARN was triggered for the RB site in CA, so at least 50 were impacted there.
I am so sorry! Which org are you in?
If that org is so poorly planned on their positions that they are laying off recent hires, you may be dodging a bullet long term.
Heartbreaking, as you put your trust in this company by taking their offer (possibly over other offers). With all the layoffs in tech this past week or so, wishing you the best of luck.
I have been laid off before, and I know how much this hurts. Take care of yourself and remember that this is not a reflection of how great you are.
This does not define you, and you will find a new great opportunity.
