CHK is truly a shameful company. I used to love this place, but am embarrassed. They laid off so many awesome geo’s and then two weeks later post jobs for geo managers. What the heck is going on in this place?!?!?!? Leadership is a clown show. Get it together and quit embarrassing us!

(1). No. It’s much much worse
(2) not very long. Company has been shopped since the day it emerged from ch11. Just waiting for the market to cooperate for the right buyer.
I have just applied to that Haynesville position actually. Seems cool.
My questions to you guys are:
- is CHK better now after the CH11 than what I used to read here in 2017-2020?
- How long is CHK going to survive before it gets dismembered and sold on the meat market to the best bidders ?
Well, don't tell the emperor or the little empresses that they have no clothes - The terminations seemed more personal than performance...
I believe this is still better than what they did in 2020 after they laid off all legit advisors (that maybe used to talk too freely about CHK’s skeletons in the closet) and then converted a bunch of useless managers into fake advisors that are still messing things up today.
They laid off engineers & engineering managers& posted Engineering Manager positions too. Realistically CHK needs the new managers from outside, but the layoffs were definitely short sighted
