I can't wait for the call. I also can't believe I've got another 3 weeks of having my feet up just looking after me and still getting paid by these amateurs. Got my next job already lined up, and taking legal advise about the way this has gone down just in case the severance looks like a PoS offer. TK did say if you stuck around you'd be rewarded, he wasn't wrong!
I will definitely disclose it with my family, friends and solicitor.
I've been laid off before and was never asked to keep the details of my severance package secret. I certainly discussed them with my accountant, my family, etc.
I'm guessing, but I would imagine that when people are laid off, they sign an NDA that includes not disclosing the severance package details and while all of this is supposed to be anonymous, you can bet if push came to shove (subpoenas) they could find out who you are if you disclosed anything and lose any $$ you were given.
Climate change denier, COVID vaccination denier, and Layoffs denier - all have the same thing in common. These folks are certainly not the brightest people you'll ever meet here.
TK tells them that the scheduled job cuts will continue until they reach the BU cost reduction targets set by the private equity owners, but the deniers continue to question if small groups of employees are being let go each week.
To them, every new layoff mention must be a Troll. Meanwhile, Krause must be wondering what kind of people remain in the shallow CSG talent puddle.
