Thread regarding CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield layoffs

Please make it end

They think we’re stupid and naïve to see through the BS of what they’re trying to do. All of the verbal warning threats and write up threats need to end. If you are going to lay us off just do it. I’m sure you’re trying to fire many of us so that we don’t get severance. There is not enough staff to do the job. There is not enough staff to do the job correctly. There’s not enough staff for this company to function the way it should be. When are they going to admit to this and look at themselves as who to blame and not the busy worker bees who make or break this company.

The same thing is going on in the BH division. They hired an MBA who was also a clueless LPCC. He destroyed the program and his response to everything is an app called Seven Cups. I saw the writing on the wall as soon as this program was announced. They then created a new fluff Program Manager position for his number 1 bu-t kisser while the house continues to burn 🔥 and highly skilled independently licensed staff flee for safety from the ongoing chaos and confusion.

Destructive leadership and counterproductive work behavior. Inflict yourself on your employees and they won't just dislike you. If they hold leadership positions, whether formal or informal, they will also start to act like you - and not in a good way. Besides BPs lackluster leadership - Angela and Jenny and their directs are destroying CF from the inside out. This company has become a raging dumpster fire.

@wvz+1jBjYXJ5 As someone who worked in Health Services in a position that SHOULD have paid six figures, let me tell you, unless you are in management, you aren't making six figures there.

This company went downhill as soon as Chet retired and beginning in 2019 we laid off the KEY (3) three MW HR, SD IT and MC FAC.
MW hired the necessary key people for the position, SD kept the infrastructure solid and secure and MC kept the operations rolling always open!!! Great vision BP!!!!

They keep hiring six figure MBA recent graduates in Health Services to do what? Oh yeah they are supposed to be driving the cost of care down. Even they are leaving after they get in the company and see the dysfunction.
