Some lessons to keep top of mind:
- Never trust a corporation
- Always keep adding new skills while maintaining the existing ones
- Build knowledge that’s valuable OUTSIDE of Intel as well as inside Intel
- Build and Maintain your LinkedIn profile and contact list
- Keep an electronic copy or derivative of your technical knowledge base (source code, documentation, etc.) for future reference
- Make sure you do something significant and positive on your last day or two of work. It’ll help you leave with a more positive memory (or at least a less cr---y one)
