I was one of over a hundred people laid off today from SADA. I understand we are in a recession, what I don't understand is that the company continues to hire new people every week. While the company isn't hitting its sales/revenue goals for 2022, it is still making money and still in the black.

Tony says "SADA family" all the time. Did he fire your husband from the family?
My husband was let go from SADA today, too. It was extremely vile how they approached this. And yes, you’re so right, they’re continually hiring new people! They showed our picture in a big company wide HR meeting congratulating us on buying our new home and then less than a week later lay off my husband. This makes no sense.
