Why is everyone surprised about layoffs in techs and everywhere about to come due to recession? We have been talking about recession for at least six months especially when the CPI (inflation rate) hit 9.1% and gas prices hit $5 to $10 bucks a gallon. Were you sleeping or in denial? Have you checked your 401K? Have you checked the dow jones/nasdaq/s&p500 indexes in the past year? If not, then please do so before you start complaining. Be glad you're not in a third world country where your house gets washed away and have no place to live or have enough food to eat. If you're talented and have the right skills for the right job, you'll find another job. Else brush up on your existing skills and/or learn new skills.
